ABOUT ME
I am excited to be teaching another year of middle school at St. Jerome. I have been at SJS for 21 years. Time truly flies. From Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, CA, I received a Bachelor of Arts - Economics, in addition to a Masters of Arts degree - Multiple Subject Elementary Education. I received a second Masters in Education with an emphasis on Curriculum Design and Technology from Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, AZ.
I've enjoyed teaching here in diverse capacities and across the different grade levels. I am the 6th grade homeroom teacher and currently teach Math and Science to 6th -8th grades. It has been my privilege to help enrich the lives of our wonderful students, both academically and spiritually. Educating Christian Leaders for Our World, the SJS motto, is the mission of every teacher at St. Jerome. It is the driving force and inspiration behind the design of lessons that strive to provide challenging opportunities to grow as responsible and independent learners (Mission Statement). My goal is to help students build on the fundamentals they learned in elementary school and prepare them for the more difficult curriculum they will face in high school.
