Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, or the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

4TH GRADE CLASSROOM

Dear St. Jerome Fourth Grade Families,

Thank you for all your contributions and support for Run for Bucks. The fourth grade class remained in second place.

Here is a recap of the week:

Religion: Students learned about the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary. We prayed a decade of the rosary with the St. Jerome school community. Students received the Saint Cereal Box Report Project packet. The templates for this project can also be found in Religion 4 in Google Classroom. This project is DUE Monday, November 3rd.
Math:
Students finished the unit on addition and subtraction strategies.
Reading:
Students read the text: Animal Adaptations and Spiders in the Wonders curriculum. We worked on finding the central idea and details to support the main idea.  A reminder that students need to have the book: Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate Di Camillo by next Monday, October 27th.

Spelling:
Students took their spelling test on words with prefixes. Students wrote their spelling  words for next week in their homework planner. Weekly spelling words can be found in Spelling 4 in Google Classroom.

Science: Students went to PS Science class.
