Online Fundraising System
For our Run For Bucks this year we're using PledgeStar, a web based fundraising system, that makes
it much easier for you to request donations from your family and friends, and for them to make secure
credit card, PayPal or check donations online. It's fun, it's easy, and we are hoping it will help us raise more
money!
Our Run For Bucks event is coming up soon on September 30th, so please register now to help our school
raise as much as we can for our many programs.
Using your computer's browser:
• Go to http://pledgestar.com/stjerome
• Click “Not Registered For This Year’s Event”
• Enter your (Parent/Guardian) name and email address, then click “Submit”
• Follow the instructions on-screen to register Runner(s) and add family and friends*
Using your Android or Apple phone or tablet:
• Go to your device’s App Store and search for "PledgeStar" to download the Family App, or
go to https://pledgestar.com/stjerome/downloadapp.html
• On the home screen enter your event code: “stjerome” to locate your event
• Click “Not Registered For This Year’s Event”
• Enter your (Parent/Guardian) name and email address, then click “Submit”
• Follow the instructions on-screen to register Runner(s) and add family and friends*
Families only have to sign up once no matter how many children are participating. This way, donors receive
one donation request, and can make a single secure donation for all the children. Parents can see all
donation activity from their family page, including how the donations were split for each child.
Customize your fundraising page by adding a photo of your child(ren) and writing a personalized
message. You can even choose to send your donation request message in another language.
When you finish, the system emails donation requests to your family and friends and allows them to make
secure donations online. You get notified each time a donation is made, and you can track your donation
progress online. A thank you note is automatically generated as well.
If parents/Guardians would like to donate to their child(ren), you will need to send an email to yourself using
Pledgestar’s “Add Family & Friends”.
